What is Sustainable SEO?

Sustainable SEO is all about the long term benefit of search engine optimisation. Many SEO agencies will use SEO techniques which we call Black Hat. In reality all this means is they use tactics that will try and trick a search engine in ranking them towards the top of search results.

Thankfully Google (and other search engines) are aware of this and continually work to reduce the impact of black hat SEO by continually updating their algorithm accordingly. What this means is Black Hat agencies will get quick results that then fall away when the loophole that they are using is shut down. The reason Google are the number 1 search engine in the world is because they police efficiently, simply put they want relevant websites appearing for relevant searches.

There are no quick fixes in SEO, if you peak too early it’s probably because you have been cheating somehow and Google will eventually catch up and penalise you. We offer an SEO service with long term benefits in mind, namely, Sustainable SEO.

Is Sustainable SEO effective?

4Ps Marketing use white hat techniques to drive targeted traffic to websites, and we do this through incremental steps. There are lots of outdated methods that SEO companies still use, such as link exchange programmes and link farming, but this will only achieve a quick increase followed by a dramatic decrease. We aim to build traffic up sustainably through our innovative PR system, as well as getting the basics right through onsite optimisation, and it does work… our clients are proof of that.
