Accurist to Launch the First Tweeting Clock
Much like Marmite, whether you love it or whether you hate it, Twitter is here to stay. It has been used by businesses for advertising, by ordinary people as somewhere to post random thought and most recently, by gamers playing the hugely popular video game Uncharted 2: Amongst Thieves, which offers the facility to automatically tweet your progress. And now, British watch manufacturer Accurist is the latest to jump on the Twitter bandwagon. As part of a campaign designed to appeal to a new generation of consumers, Accurist will launch the first Tweeting clock after the launch of a new TV ad on December 1st.
When Accurist became the first sponsor of British Telecom’s Speaking Clock, the service received nearly three billion calls.
Will the Tweeting Clock become as popular?
