Adwords Conversion Champion Challenge
Google launched an element of fun for PPC advertisers yesterday with their ‘Conversion Champion Challenge’. So, what do you need to do to receive this rather fun and prestigious title?
The Inside AdWords blog states the following rules:
1. Using one of Google’s free measurement products, you should track conversions on your site. These measurement products include ‘AdWords Conversion Tracking’ and ‘Google Analytics’ (Analytics goals should be imported into AdWords).
2. Through the use of AdWords Search Funnels and/or Conversion Optimizer, you should analyse the data and try to boost your performance.
3. Show Google your results and tell your story at the following site: Conversion Champion Challenge
The advertiser with the most innovative, interesting and unique case study will be crowned Conversion Champion . But the title doesn’t end there…the Conversion Champion will receive:
1. A trip to the Google Headquarters in Mountain View, CA, just outside San Francisco (all flights, hotel and dinner for two people are included)
2. A chance to meet the Google Conversion Team who will audit your Google Analytics implementation, assess the usability of your website and provide recommendations to further improve your conversion rate.
3. $500 of AdWords credit.
4. Your own one-off post on the Inside AdWords Blog featuring your website and your photo with the Google team.
Sound good? Potential Conversion Champions have until 31 July to enter. So if you fancy yourself Conversion Champion of the PPC world, give it a go!
