Google Caffeine & News
Google’s latest announcement of a new indexing system is all over the internet and topic of convergence in search arena. Matt Cutts calls it as “it’s a pretty fundamentally BIG change” in one of the interviews regarding Google Caffeine. It would be surprising if you wouldn’t know about this and are in the Internet industry.
For starters, let’s say that it’s advancement if speaking technically. But on the other hand, more importantly the impact of this is what really matters to the users. It is suggested that most users won’t notice the difference in search result. However, webmasters & power searchers would and hence, Google is requesting feedback.
In a way, this is an effort by the search giant to curb SEOs from exploiting the search algorithm to generate high page ranks and drive traffic. Basically, the indexing is going to be faster and so will the crawl rate. Google’s new approach of analysing the web in smaller chunks is the key behind this announced improvement. This is to facilitate the user which has been the focus as always.
A description of the indexing system is provided on the blog post and is described by the image shown below.

The SEO Impact
If we focus on “Google’s new approach of analysing the web in smaller chunks”, the message is pretty clear. It is what we need to expect in order to prepare and act according to the changes this new indexing system will demand. So a guess would be to emphasise on tags, real time information, true data relevance and basic site structure.
Its seems like the stacking system of indexing will soon be replaced by data oriented objects system, in a way.
