Google Patent Suggests YouTube Could Offer Interactive Gaming
YouTube could be looking to offer Interactive Gaming based on a Digital Video. A patent that was filed in February 2009 and was released to the public very recently revealed Google’s inclination towards building games on top of existing online hosted videos using an interactive annotation system.
The new game system under the “Web-Based System For Generation Of Interactive Games Based On Digital Videos” patent would allow a select group of collaborators, the opportunity to link videos together and add interactive annotations to each creating an interactive video experience. Annotations could be of different types and have different functionality.
