Stephen Fry quits Twitter
Fortunately, it is only on a temporary basis. The idea of Stephen Fry’s Twitter account falling silent may come as a relief to some people but for bereft fans like me, it may be some comfort to know the reason for his disappearance. Fry intends to finish the second instalment of his autobiography by April and according to the man himself, this will only be possible if he has “peace, absolute peace, an empty diary and zero distraction” and that he “shall be as one wiped from the map of human existence.”
Though fans face several months of no Tweeting from Fry, we can at least look forward to the next instalment of his autobiography.
