UNIQLO Autumn Collection Launch
As UNIQLO saw the launch of their Autumn collection last night, we were there to experience and document the evening. At 4Ps Marketing, we consider client rapport extremely important and an in-depth knowledge of the product is eminent in our optimisation work. UNIQLO, like most of our clients invest in both SEO and PPC as well as benefitting from the company’s impressive knowledge in social media . Joining forces last year, UNIQLO and 4Ps Marketing have built a solid business relationship and being one of our biggest clients, we were excited by the prospect of attending such an event.
On entering the launch in St Martins hotel near Leicester Square, the sheer effort and unmitigated attention to detail was immediately apparent from the sight of every mannequin beautifully styled from head to toe and stylised printed backdrops to the delicately decorated cake stands and colourful brand logos subtly appearing through the almost transparent curtains. The displays ranged from the casual Mickey t-shirts to smart, formal coats never contemplated before by the brand, from autumn greys and browns to the iconic bright, colourful designs we’ve become accustomed to expect from the stylish, fashion brand.
Walking around the elaborately decorated room, we were introduced to some of the weird and wonderful materials in which UNIQLO pride themselves – the coated denim jeans and jackets were a favourite of mine with an almost leather-like resistance; merino-cashmere, faux furs, the ever-popular checked shirts in every colour imaginable, weathered jeans , distressed denim, UNIQLO’s own heattech range and a selection of down coats with styles so light-weight they can be folded and stashed away in a bag.
However, UNIQLO wasn’t the only brand presence felt in the room. Domino Records, a recording company which has recently collaborated with UNIQLO to bring out a range of stylish music t-shirts promoted the brand very appropriately and effectively with the presence of a DJ. Situated on the back wall of the room, the DJ and his music not only complemented the display, but finished off the overall ambience of the room perfectly.
