Facebook organises World Championship of Hacking

Facebook is in search of a world champion hacker. Facebook already organises its all night coding events – the Hackathons where its developers code all night in order to create a new product or app. But it recently announced that a world level competition will be organised in order to find the world champion of hacking.  The competition will have three rounds and will be held online. The rules are simple, with each round requiring contestants to successfully solve algorithmic – based problem statements with speed and accuracy. The final 25 will be flown to Facebook headquarters in Palo Alto, California. Registrations for the competition open on 20th of December with the first round in early January and the final being held on the 11th of March 2011. more ›››
